Our approach & safety
We practice trauma-informed, compassionate hypnotherapy. That means clear consent, pacing to what you can tolerate, and an emphasis on safety and integration. We don’t promise cures — we offer tools and guided support to help you create sustainable change. Hypnotherapy at (re)Treat Wellness is delivered by licensed professionals trained in hypnotherapy and integrative techniques.
(If you have a history of severe mental illness, psychosis, or complex trauma, we’ll discuss suitability and coordinate care.)
What is hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, focused attention, and suggestion to access a receptive state of mind. In that state you’re more able to reframe unhelpful thoughts, strengthen new responses, and integrate insights. You stay in control the whole time — it’s a collaborative, purposeful process, not stage hypnosis Who hypnotherapy helps Hypnotherapy can support adults who want tools for: Anxiety and stress reduction Insomnia and sleep improvement Habit change (smoking, emotional eating, procrastination) Pain management and tension relief Performance enhancement (public speaking, athletics, creative work) Preparation for medical procedures or childbirth Strengthening self-confidence and motivation.
What Is Regression Hypnotherapy? Sometimes the challenges we face today are connected to experiences from our past. Even if we don’t consciously remember them, old wounds, beliefs, or emotions can linger in the background—shaping how we feel, react, and see ourselves. Regression hypnotherapy is a gentle process that helps you get to the root of those struggles. With the support of a trained therapist, you’re guided into a calm, focused state where your mind can safely bring forward the memories or feelings connected to what’s holding you back. The goal isn’t to relive the past, but to understand and release it, so you can move forward with more freedom. People often turn to regression hypnotherapy for: Anxiety, fears, or phobias Relationship struggles or repeating patterns Low self-worth or lingering negative beliefs Grief, trauma, or painful life events Habits that feel hard to change, even with willpower This approach allows you to heal at the source—so you’re not just coping with symptoms, but truly transforming the way your mind and body carry those old experiences.
Hypnosis is simply a tool to help you access your own inner strengths. If you’re curious about how it might help you,
